Rombauer and other boutique wines, we are always on a mission to find great, inexpensive wines as well!  Frankly, we think we're doing a pretty good job of that challenge and hope you'll come by to check out our "finds".  We attend trade shows, visit wineries, and work closely with distributors to discover unique and delicious wine values to pass on to you.

Basics of Wine

Our philosophy has always been to "drink what you enjoy".  Yes, the old rule of drinking reds with meat, and whites with fish or chicken, is certainly one by which you can live.  A Cabernet will always be perfect with Filet Mignon and a Chardonnay with Grilled Chicken.

But other factors should be considered before making your wine choice. . . the complexity and richness of the meal; the sauces, sides, and condiments to accompany the entree; and the spiciness of the overall food.  Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with Salmon or Ahi Tuna, and Riesling is fabulous with spicy Thai or Cajun cuisine.  

So come by and let us help you choose that perfect bottle of wine for a special occasion or just for pizza night.  That's what we're here for!  We have many of your tried-and-true favorites, but we also have exciting and unique options that have been personally chosen by Pam and Gail.  And remember that our wines start at $6.99!
